Snowmobile Clubhouses in Gaspésie

Here are two snowmobile clubhouses you won’t want to miss during your snowmobile trip in Gaspésie! Stop at these sites to recharge your batteries as you explore the fabulous trails in this region.

Relais Saint-Damase

Located directly on Trans-Québec trail #5 (TQ5), this snowmobile clubhouse is easily accessible (no detour required) and is part of the Base Plein Air St-Damase, an outdoor recreational facility that offers marked and groomed trails as well as backcountry trails. Free parking is also available on site.

The clubhouse includes a restaurant and bar, making it an ideal place to enjoy a hot meal, have a drink with friends or new acquaintances, or simply warm up by the woodstove in a friendly atmosphere!

Relais de la Cache

Located at the heart of the Chic-Choc Mountains on Route 299, Relais de la Cache is a bilingual establishment managed by the Mi’gmaq community of Gesgapegiag. It is located along trail #595, near the intersection to the trail that will take you to Murdochville.

The clubhouse offers breakfast, lunch and dinner, serving hot meals seven days a week. You can also stay in one of the four rooms in the motel (two beds, satellite television, wireless Internet and a private bathroom) or one of the three rooms on the second floor of the main building. All rooms include breakfast and parking. A convenience store and gas station are also located on site. Make sure to refuel before you leave, since this is one of the few gas stations at the heart of the Gaspé Peninsula.

Please note: the trail between La Cache and Murdochville is closed due to safety concerns on two essential bridges that will require major work.
