Can’t-Miss Winter Experiences in Le Rocher-Percé in Gaspésie

There are plenty of activities on offer in the winter in the Percé area in Gaspésie, including the opportunity to admire Percé Rock under a thick blanket of snow!

In the winter, this base camp offers fatbiking in the woods around the lodge, cross-country skiing on the Coin-du-Banc Beach, guided or independent Hok skiing in the mountains of Percé, and an introduction to ice climbing. New this year: an outdoor spa-style hot tub is available for visitors!

The Percé UNESCO Global Geopark offers many trails you can hike in the winter. Restrooms are available year-round in the geopark’s Pavillon des Grandes Marées, located in the centre of Percé.

Discover Percé from the treetops at Folies Boréales! Located on the Route de l’Irlande, this site’s treetop trekking course is only open on weekends upon reservation in the winter.

Open year-round, the Circuit des Bâtisseurs gives you the opportunity to discover the people and industries that shaped the town of Chandler. This open-air museum includes a 4-km trail open to pedestrians in the winter. After a snowfall, snowshoes are recommended to explore this trail.

Located near the Chaud and Duguay lakes in Pabos Mills (Chandler), the Bellefeuille outdoor centre offers sledding, skating and snowshoeing in the winter. Cottages and dormitories are also available.

Located between Gaspé and Percé, Bond Café offers breakfast, lunch and dinner along with magnificent views of Pointe-Saint-Pierre.
