Festive Locations in Gaspésie

Microbreweries
The Route des Bières de l’Est du Québec is a craft beer route that will take you to several microbreweries in Gaspésie, including, Le Ketch, in Sainte-Flavie, La Fabrique, in Matane; Le Malbord, in Sainte-Anne-des-Monts; Pit Caribou, in L’Anse-à-Beaufils; La Belle Aventure, in Bonaventure, Le Naufrageur, in Carleton-sur-Mer and La Captive, Amqui.
Enjoy a tasty brew on their patios in the afternoon or evening! In addition to making a wide variety of delicious beers, these microbreweries also contribute to the local cultural scene. All of them host events, activities and shows where you are likely to make musical discoveries. A festive atmosphere awaits you at these sites in the evening!

Youth hostels
Located right on the water, the Auberge festive Sea Shack and Auberge Griffon Aventure offer affordable lodging, water activities and fun until all hours of the night! The Sea Shack, in Sainte-Anne-des-Monts, welcomes you to the festive Cantine Barberousse food truck as well as the Tiki Bar, which hosts shows that will blow you away and is open day and night.
The Griffon Aventure hostel, in L’Anse-au-Griffon, offers a public grill, hammocks with a view of the sea, a firepit on the beach, musical instruments and costumes (yes, costumes!). You can also enjoy a drink and a snack on the Barbar patio overlooking the sea!

Terraces
La Vieille Usine de L'Anse-à-Beaufils offer restaurant featuring regional cuisine and show venues for fun evenings! The café bistro and terrace on the wharf at La Vieille Usine, with a view of the docked boats, are great places to meet people. In the summer, enjoy happy hours and the free shows by artists from Gaspésie and elsewhere.

Bistro bar and pubs
Located in the heart of Gaspé for over 25 years, the Bistro-Bar le Brise-Bise offers an evolving seasonal menu. Colourful and dynamic, the bistro offers a vast selection of Québec microbrews, which you can enjoy while listening to local and not-so-local live music.
Pub St-Joseph, which has locations in Bonaventure and Carleton-sur-Mer, offers a varied menu in a warm and relaxed atmosphere as well as a terrace. Enjoy the festive ambiance on evenings when sports games are broadcast on giant screens!
