Where to Buy Picnic Food in Gaspésie
Here are some gourmet shops where you can buy all the food items you need for a delicious picnic on the beach featuring local flavours from Gaspésie.
La Mitis: Fresh bread, mead, gin and beer
There is nothing like a locally made aperitif to liven up your picnic! Stop at the Mitis Distillery, you will find gin produced on site. At the artisanal bakery, Le Lotus Noir, you will find, in addition to baked goods, fresh Vietnamese dishes of the day to take away.
You can also buy delicious meads and other fine honey products at Le Vieux-Moulin (Sainte-Flavie). Located in the heart of the village of Sainte-Flavie, Le Ketch - Microbrasserie du littoral is considered to be the first stop of your Gaspésie tour.

La Matanie: Fresh bread, cheese, glaces, wine and beer
The Fromagerie du Littoral (Baie-des-Sables), cheese factory, offers you a variety of cheeses made with milk from their cows. Savour these cheeses with fresh bread from the Boulangerie Toujours Dimanche bakery (Matane), which also offers pastries and other baked goods, prepared dishes and tasty coffees. Stop at Vivier, épicerie boutique to find local products. Also enjoy the delicious ice cream at Chic-Chocs Glacier (Matane).

La Haute-Gaspésie: Chocolate, smoked salmon, local products, gin and beer
In Sainte-Anne-des-Monts, Couleur Chocolat chocolate economuseum offers irresistible chocolate creations and homemade ice cream. The Boutique Gourmande Plein Ma Valise, a specialty shop, offers a tasting counter for fine cheeses, artisanal charcuterie, imported wines and local products. Finally, the craft beers made by Le Malbord will add a festive touch to your picnic!
The Atkins et Frères smokehouse (Saint-Maxime-du-Mont-Louis) offers succulent smoked fish and seafood. In the same village, a real speciality food shop, the delicatessen L'Amarré offers a warm and colorful place where you will discover various local products. In Mont-Saint-Pierre, enjoy delicious frozen products made by Sucre Glace.
Distillerie Cap-Chat (Cap-Chat) develops and produces spirits with wild and natural flowers, plants, spices and herbs, mostly picked in Gaspésie. Visit the new Cap-aux Péchés Distillery, located in an old church converted into a distillery with a view of the sea in Rivière-à-Claude.

La Côte-de-Gaspé: Local products, cheese, deli meats, gin and beer
The Marché des saveurs gaspésiennes (Gaspé) offers a wide variety of local products, including cheeses and deli meats, as well as lunchboxes and pastries made on site. On the same street, just opposite, oh les pains prepares tasty breads, soups and chocolatines. Also stock up on delicious gins at the O'Dwyer Distillerie Gaspésienne and beers at the Au Frontibus Microbrewery.
Le Rocher-Percé: Beer
The Pit Caribou microbrewery (Percé) offer thirst-quenching craft beers. Enjoy a wide selection of craft beers and a variety of shows in the warm atmosphere of the Pit Caribou pub, located in the village of Percé. You can also stock up on your favourite products at the microbrewery boutique (L’Anse-à-Beaufils). The terrace by the beach is a real piece of paradise to share an unforgettable moment!

La Baie-des-Chaleurs (Bonaventure): Strawberries, smoked salmon, fresh fish, bread, gin and beer
In Bonaventure, Boulangerie La Pétrie offers you fresh bakery products, made from organic or sustainable flour, in a warm atmosphere. Stop at the La Belle Aventure microbrewery to enjoy a good beer and snacks with local flavor. The Poissonnerie du pêcheur (Bonaventure) and Poissonnerie La Coquille (Caplan) fish markets are great places to stop for fresh and delicious fish and seafood. Perched on the top of the cliff, the Distillerie des Marigots (Caplan) awaits you for a guided tour of its facilities with a tasting area.
Ferme Bourdages Tradition (Saint-Siméon), a strawberry farm that makes wines as well as other delicious products (pies, pâtés, jams, coulis, etc.), offers you lots to choose from, including regional products and pick-your-own.
On Saturdays during the summer, the public market in New Richmond gives you the opportunity to meet many artists, artisans and food producers as you purchase their works and products. In Cascapédia-Saint-Jules, the Cascapédia Smokehouse offers smoked trout and salmon.

La Baie-des-Chaleurs (Avignon): Fresh bread, mead and beer
In Maria, the Rucher des Framboisiers sells mead (honey wine) and several types of honey. In Carleton-sur-Mer, La Mie véritable bakery offers an appetizing variety of breads, pastries and other baked goods as well as gelato, various local products and delicious espresso. Microbrasserie Le Naufrageur has a minimart that sells the tasty beers brewed on site.

La Matapédia: Raspberries, chocolate, local products, fish, seafood and beer
In Amqui, Chocolaterie BelJade offers a variety of chocolates made on site as well as an ice cream bar. La Fille du Pêcheur, fish market, awaits you with a selection of fresh fish and seafood. Stock up on craft beers from La Captive microbrewery. Au Bec Pointu offers sushi, Thai stir-fries, pâtés, salads, soups and traditional desserts.
In Val-Brillant, you can pick your own berries at the Vallée de la Framboise economuseum raspberry farm. You can also buy raspberry wines, mistelles, liqueurs, spreads, jellies, butters, pies and homemade slushies on site. Stop at Churros et Sucreries to enjoy churros and lots of sweets.
