With nearly 2,000 kilometres of trails, the Gaspésie offers you an unforgettable experience. Considered as "heaven on earth for quadding", La Matapédia is constantly developing and greets you with more than 600 kilometres of trails that are recognized by the Fédération québécoise des clubs quads. Together with Matane and La Mitis regions, it is the most important area of the Gaspésie for quadding with more than 1,000 kilometres of trails.
The ongoing development of quadding
In the past three years, more than 800 kilometres of trails have been developed in the Gaspésie region. It is now possible to travel throughout th entire Gaspesian territory and to enjoy its most magnificent landscapes.

Regional park open during the four seasons.
Winter activities: downhill skiing, snowboarding, 26 ski trails on 2 hillsides, which range from easy to extremely difficult, snowshoeing, 15 kilometres of cross-country ski trails, snowmobile trails, inner tube sliding on illuminated slope with mechanical lift.
Summer activities: mountain biking with chair lift ascent, 640 kilometres of all-terrain vehicle (ATV) trails, hiking trails, observation tour.
Services offered: Resto Pub l'Expédition at the top of the mountain (upon reservations), cafeteria, on-site lodging available year-round (reservation mandatory), day-care, equipment rental shop, reception hall or conference room accommodating 300 people.
Schedule: year-round, on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. In the spring: watch skiers cross Picalo Lake: Aqua-neige from April 16

The Cache Grande nature offers activities year-round in the heart of the Gaspésie, in a mountain, river and forest setting.
Summer activities: ATV, canoeing, wilderness camping, fishing, hunting (fall).
Winter activities: cross-country skiing, off-trail snowmobiling, snowshoeing. Snowmobile photo safari ride in the Chic-Chocs. Snowmobiles: packages available. Licensed restaurant, gas, lodging (motels and rooms).
