What to Do in Gaspésie in June

In June, nature bursts into colour and summer festivities begin in Gaspésie. The BleuBleu Festival in Carleton-sur-Mer and the Petite-Vallée Song Festival kick off the season, while many campgrounds and seasonal establishments resume their activities.

The relatively cool weather is ideal for fishing and hiking, although snow can still be found at higher elevations. Starting on Saint-Jean-Baptiste Day (a Québec holiday celebrated on June 24), the region enters peak tourist season.
