Immerse yourself in the marine environment of the St. Lawrence at the Exploramer science museum. Here, you’ll find an aquarium with a living collection of fish and other marine organisms, touch pools and a museum presenting sea-themed exhibitions. Exploramer also offers sea excursions, a fish-harvesting activity and the “Dare to Taste” activity, which gives you the opportunity to sample edible marine species showcased by the Smarter Seafood program, which promotes the sound management of local marine resources.

A popular hiking destination, this park will impress you with the beauty of its mountains, which include more than 25 peaks over 1000 metres high! In addition to hiking, you can enjoy many other outdoor activities in the park including kayaking, canoeing, stand-up paddleboarding, fishing and biking. You may even be lucky enough to spot moose, which are present in large numbers in the park, especially on Mont Ernest-Laforce.

Go prospecting at the Mont Lyall open-pit mine, which is located in a 350-million-year-old volcano, and take home your finds! Once cut in half, the stones will reveal cavities covered with crystals and minerals such as agates, amethysts, carnelians, jaspers and quartz in a variety of colours.

Make a stop at the Discovery Space of the Station de montagne sur mer to enhance your visit with interactive screens and an immersive model. Then, continue your exploration by taking the newly redesigned Delta Trail, which will lead you to the summit of Mount Saint-Pierre, rising to 430 meters above sea level. From there, enjoy an exceptional panoramic view of the St. Lawrence River and its glacial valley. Don’t miss the immersive Odyssey experience, revealing the hidden side of Mount Saint-Pierre. Thrill seekers can also try hang-gliding or paragliding with Vue du Ciel or Les Passagers du Vent.
