Whales are fascinating to watch! Seven different species can be observed off the Forillon-Percé area, including impressive blue whales, the largest creatures on the planet. Enjoy these exceptional sights from May to October.
Throughout the season, depending on food availability, as many as seven different species of whales can be seen in the waters of Gaspé Bay and the Gulf of St. Lawrence.
You may catch sight of blue whales, fin whales, spectacular humpbacks, minke whales, pilot whales, white-sided dolphins and harbour porpoises.
Board a sightseeing boat for an unforgettable excursion, experience exhilarating thrills as you spot a whale's back or tail emerge from the water, hear their explosive blows or watch acrobatic dolphins frolic in the waves.
While kayaking along the coast, you will discover numerous places where grey seals and harbour seals like to bask in the sun on long flat rocks.
