Description
Admire the remains of the Machault, an imposing 26-gun frigate, and imagine the final naval battle between France and Great Britain for possession of the North American territory in 1760.
Do not miss: Guided tour in period costume. Available from July 1 to August 31, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. Relive the final voyage of the frigate Machault through the eyes of a period character.
In collaboration with the Mi’gmaq community of Listuguj, discover a birch bark canoe made by artisans. Learn more about how they are made and used.
From August 16 to September 13, 2024, see the photographs of Charles Frédérick Ouellet on the site, in collaboration with the Rencontres de la photographie en Gaspésie.

- Rates: adult $4.50, seniors $4, free for ages 17 and under
