Discover an exceptional site that is perfectly integrated into the natural environment. Parc du Bourg de Pabos offers visitors an interpretation centre, two multimedia experiences, a virtual-reality experience, a campground, a restaurant, hiking trails, a bike path, a recreational park, beaches and picnic areas.
Interpretation centre: Embark on an adventure and discover over 250 years of history in a coastal seigneury located in an exceptional natural environment. The museum’s permanent open-air exhibition provides a glimpse into daily life in the Grand Pabos seigneury during the 18th century. You can also discover the methodology and digging techniques used by archaeologist Pierre Nadon, who reconstructed our ancestors’ way of life from the vestiges of the past.
Ura: Lamia invites you on the water path. This mysterious woman will hand you the keys to the eight stations that dot this path. At each station, you will enjoy amazing experiences. You will never see water the same way again!
La Grave Restaurant: The restaurant offers a magnificent view of Grand Pabos Bay and Beau Séjour Island. The menu features local ingredients.
Bourg de Pabos campground: Rated 4 stars by Camping Québec, the campground offers clean facilities that are sure to appeal to the whole family.
Trails: The park offers hikers and cyclists nearly 20 km of trails to explore and observe wildlife in Grand Pabos Bay. Lookouts and rest areas are found along the trails.
Beaches: Three beaches over one kilometre wide are accessible to all visitors for free. Washroom facilities are available nearby. Lifeguards are present on the third beach.
Playground: Young families can enjoy the playground area with water features and conventional playground equipment. This is a free attraction.
Circuit des Bâtisseurs: The Circuit des Bâtisseurs is a hiking and cycling trail that is accessible from the interpretation site. It will take you to the municipality of Chandler via the bridge at the mouth of Grand Pabos Bay.
